Stay overnight in the wilderness
At numerous trekking camps throughout the Black Forest — which can be booked from May through October — overnight stays are officially permitted in the Black Forest Central/North Nature Park, the Black Forest National Park, and the Southern Black Forest Nature Park. The camps are all located away from towns, are accessible only on foot, and feature campsites for three tents, a fire pit, and a small restroom. That’s all. Hikers must bring their own water and food, and all trash must be taken back with them. We hope you have a great time on your trekking adventure in the Black Forest!
